Meet Your Periodontists in Seattle, WA
A native of Germany, now resides in the Greater Seattle area with his wife and two daughters. He completed his pre-dental and dental education in Oxford and later at the University of BirminghamOpen link in the new window in England. Inspired by his father, Dr. Raval developed a passion for dentistry at a young age, which led him to pursue periodontal surgery, dental implants, and comprehensive dentistry.
In 2009, he moved to the U.S. and completed his residency in periodontics and implants at the University of WashingtonOpen link in the new window, where he also attained a Masters in Dentistry. Dr. Raval continues to excel in his field, attending continuing education courses and pioneering the latest technology. Dr. Raval is currently helping bring further education to dental professionals as a FOROpen link in the new window Emerging Leader. He is dedicated to educating his patients about the importance of oral health and is always available to provide support and help.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, immigrated to America with his family during high school. He attended the University of IllinoisOpen link in the new window at Chicago for his undergraduate degree, where he was recruited to continue as a researcher on novel anti-cancer drug therapy.
Dr. Lee’s research laid the foundation for drugs used to help patients fight cancer today. After serving on medical relief mission trips, he decided to become a dentist and attended dental school at Roseman UniversityOpen link in the new window in Utah. Dr. Lee pursued certification in advanced periodontics and implant dentistry at the University of WashingtonOpen link in the new window, where he also completed a Masters in Science. His research has improved the success and treatment options for dental implants. Dr. Lee is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and is honored to be part of the DoctorPerio team.
Graduated from Nair Hospital Dental College in MumbaiOpen link in the new window at the top of his class. He trained in restorative dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental MedicineOpen link in the new window and completed an oral surgery internship in Mumbai. Dr. Gharpure completed a specialty training program in periodontics and implant surgery at the University of Washington, where he also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
He is an affiliate faculty member in periodontics at the University of Washington School of DentistryOpen link in the new window, where he teaches pre-doctoral and post-doctoral dental students. Dr. Gharpure is known for his calm, relaxed, and friendly demeanor, and he takes special care to make his patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
Dr. Malika Jhawar’s journey into dentistry began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, where she was deeply involved in sterilization procedures and dental surgeries. She pursued her doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania,Open link in the new window where she received the American Academy of PeriodontologyOpen link in the new window Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology.
Dr. Jhawar furthered her education by completing her certificate in periodontics and advanced intravenous sedation at Tufts UniversityOpen link in the new window.
